Family Dentist

Dr. Ron Haines wasborn in Lancaster, England, the son of a British war bride and a career Canadian Army officer. Dr.Haines attended schools in Ontario, Quebec, and the Yukon before graduating from high school in Regina, Saskatchewan. One of his favourite childhood memories was his investiture as a Queen's Scout from the Yukon Boy Scout movement. He completed his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Alberta, following which he served as a dental officer in the Canadian Armed Forces.  Captain Ron was thrilled to be given the opportunity to complete the Airborne Regiment Basic Parachutist Course, and post graduate training in Forensic Dentistry, Walter Reed Army Medical Center/Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, Washington, D.C./Betesda, Maryland; he maintains that the forensic training has had a profound effect on his life and dental career. Following his military service, Dr. Ron, with his new bride Jan, returned to Alberta, taking up residence in Spruce Grove and then Parkland County, there raising their four children and umpteen other animals. In2005, he was a member of the Canadian Disaster Victim Identification Team that was sent to Phuket, Thailand, to assist with the ID of victims of the South East Asia Tsunami. When not practicing dentistry, consulting on forensic dental cases, or furthering his professional education, Ron enjoys acreage life, travel, sailing, dog training, and teasing anyone that meets his fancy or happens to be around, but particularly his grandchildren. Dr.Haines is passionate about dentistry and dedicated to his dental practice, establishing close and long-lasting ties with many of his patients. He enjoys working with children, one of the reasons that he has been providing orthodontic services (braces) for almost 30 years.

After completing her Bachelor of Science at the University of Calgary, Dr. Sabreena Bhaidani travelled to Australia to complete the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at the University of Melbourne. She then went back to practice in Calgary for a few years before making the move to Edmonton. We are excited to welcome her to our Evergreen Family Dentistry team! Dr. Bhaidani is detail –oriented and committed to providing high quality patient care. She enjoys listening to patients to understand their needs and strives to help them feel comfortable in the dental office. Dr.Bhaidani is trained in all areas of restorative dentistry and provides sedation options including nitrous, oral sedation and Botox services.
